About Me

Hello! I'm Rhawel, an Australian Voice Actor and Artist. My voice acting journey began in my childhood, where I would attempt to impersonate quirky characters and sounds from shows and videogames. This eventually lead to me making up my own little voices for characters in books and visual novels, acting out how I believe the characters would have said each line out loud, my interest in voice acting began here. However, I didn't truly dip my toes into the VA world until 2021, where a friend and myself had seen another Australian voice actor wanting to network with other small Aussie VAs and do little silly projects together, and so we took the leap and I have never turned back. From then on I have been auditioning for many indie projects, finding my voice and newfound confidence within myself through each role I try for and have taken on, breathing life into each character I have been given the honor to be. There's nothing quite as fun or refreshing as being able to mentally dive into a characters mindset and becoming them in that moment. My vocal range goes from medium to high pitched, my go-to voices are often described as "sultry" or "childish", but I do have a range of voices to play with, including creatures and monsters! Accents I'm comfortable with using are Australian, American and British. When I'm not recording I'm either being crafty with my hands, that may be drawing or making something, like props or accessories. Reading novels or manga, playing games or doing the most important thing outside of the booth, snuggling my pets!If you're in need of a quirky lil' guy to breathe life into your characters - human or not - absolutely feel free to reach out via email or even a Twitter DM! I'll get back to you at my earliest convenience.
